prAna is a company that began offering their unique and high quality clothing line in 1992. They specifically designed their extensive variety of clothing items to fit an active lifestyle. Their first pieces were originally designed with the art of climbing and yoga in mind; however prAna quickly discovered that their clothing line was extremely appropriate for many other situations and activities in addition to climbing and yoga.

For my review, I received prAna’s Maura Jacket and Chenille V-Neck sweater.

The Maura Jacket is made of wool. Wool naturally wicks away moisture allowing you to stay dry and warm. The collar, cuffs, and waistband are lined with jersey material for extra comfort. Both materials are sustainable making the jacket even that much better. The jacket herringbone patterns that accent the sides, cuffs, and elbows. I love the prAna Maura Jacket. It has an attractive cut and versatile fit making it easy to wear where ever I go.

The Chenille V-Neck sweater is made with luxurious chenille yarns. It has reverse rolled seams and a flattering slim cut. It is so soft that it feels like you are cuddling with your favorite luxurious blanket.  I find it to be warm but not overly hot.

I have found that both the prAna Chenille V-Neck Sweater and the Maura Jack et are ideal for travel.  They don’t wrinkle, are very comfortable and can be considered casual clothing as well as “dressy” depending on your mood or your social situation. I have received many compliments on both of these items.
