We desperately needed a rug or mat in our kitchen. Our floors were being destroyed from water splashing out of the skin and the dishwasher. I wanted something that would absorb water but, not let it soak through to the floor below. I also wanted something that was easy to clean and take care of. I began researching and found a product called Waterhog.
For my review, I received a Waterhog Runner in medium brown. It is approximately 23” W x 60” L. Waterhog mats are not your “ordinary” mat. They HOLD water and muck protecting your floors. They have a pattern and texture that helps remove debris from your shoes. Waterhog has a low-profile cleated rubber backing making them perfect for entryways.
Waterhog mats are made with antistatic 100% polypropylene so they wear well and are easy to clean with a vacuum or hose.
I placed the Waterhog runner in our kitchen and it was perfect. It looked great and has completely protected our floors from our kitchen splashes and drops.
Problem Solvers has a variety of Waterhog mats in various colors and sizes.
Problem Solvers is on facebook and twitter.
One lucky winner is going to receive a $50 Problem Solvers Gift Code. This is a US giveaway that will end on 11/09/12.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

That color would match my decor perfectly.
Do we ever need this rug. We have 3 dogs, and they have been rough on the floor. Add that to my son coming in from the shop and blacksmith forge, and our floors have taken a hit over the years. The wooden floor near the front entryway already needs to be sanded and refinished. Right now, I’d just like to cover it and prevent more damage.
