Sleep Bamboo sells luxury GREEN bamboo textiles. Their products include bed sheets, comforters, duvets, pillows, pillow cases, and towels. Sleep Bamboo knows that their products are investment pieces and they want to ensure you that your health is worth that investment.
In the past, I have reviewed a pair of Sleep Bamboo pillowcases and a sheet set. Almost a year later, I am still head-over-heels in love with my bedding. I have shared my love for Sleep Bamboo with all of my friends and family. I have even taken a pillow case with me so I could share the luxurious feeling with some “bamboo doubters”. As you can imagine, I was beyond excited when I was given the opportunity to do another review for Sleep Bamboo. For this review, I received a 100% Bamboo Duvet Cover with two Decorative Shams in their Ivory color.
Sleep Bamboo bedding is made with 100% Bamboo fibers. The Duvet has a zipper closure for easy removal when washing and remaking your bed…let’s face it, putting a duvet cover on isn’t the easiest task.
Bamboo is easy to care for with machine washing and you will find that it stays fresher longer than cotton bedding.
Bamboo has a natural antibacterial property. A natural occurring anti-microbial agent, bamboo kunh, helps prevent the growth of bacteria. It also helps repel dust mites and bed bugs. I have a family member right now suffering from a horrible allergic reaction to dust mites. I suspect that they will soon be investing in Sleep Bamboo bedding.
Sleep Bamboo bedding is very light weight and has a sateen finish to it. It is the most luxurious fabric I have ever felt in my life. Some compare the feeling of bamboo fabric to silk or cashmere, but I honestly think that if feels even better than those!
One of my favorite qualities in bamboo fabric is that it helps regulate your body temperature. It also allows your skin to breathe at night and helps wick away moisture…even better than cotton bedding. Bamboo bedding is perfect for all seasons; during the cooler months, it helps keep you warm (not hot), and during the warmer months, it helps keep you cool and dry.
As if that’s not enough reasons for you to be sold on the concept of Sleep Bamboo bedding, bamboo textiles are eco-friendly too. Bamboo fabric is completely biodegradable. The Moso bamboo used in fabric production produces more oxygen than a stand of trees.
I wanted to note in my review about the size and cut of Sleep Bamboo products. I am use to ordering a size larger in bedding that what my mattress is because it’s a pillow top. That isn’t necessary with Sleep Bamboo. Their products account for different mattress styles so order the size that your mattress is and it should fit just fine.
I don’t know about you but I am completely hooked on Sleep Bamboo products. Now I have my eyes set on Sleep Bamboo towels! 🙂
Sleep Bamboo is on facebook and twitter.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I’ve never heard of bamboo sheets, but they sound nice. I definitely need some new ones, so maybe I’ll put these on my Christmas wish list. 🙂
I really want to try bamboo sheets sometime!
