Enviro-Log is a company that is not only the 3rd largest producer of firelogs in North America but also the nation’s largest recycler of WOCC (waxed old corrugated containers).  By recycling the WOCC, Enviro-Log is not only helping improve the environment but also eliminating a disposal problem that is both difficult and expensive while at the same time providing its customers with a high quality and economical alternative to natural wood.

The earth-friendly fire logs that Enviro-Log makes from the WOCC are safe to use in woodstoves and fireplaces as well as in outdoor situations like campfires and chimineas.  The only difference between the Enviro-Log and firewood is that the Enviro-Log has cleaner emissions.

For our review, we received two Enviro-Logs. I asked my Mom to help me with this review since she has a wood burning fireplace. Here are her thoughts on Enviro-Logs:

All I did was unfold the ends of the wrap that surrounded the log and laid the log on our fireplace grate with the seam side up (per the instructions).  I preceded to lite the wrap and it caught on fire instantly.   I’ve used other alternative logs and they seem to take forever to actually catch on fire and start burning.  That definitely wasn’t the case with the Enviro-Log.

Our fireplace doesn’t put off a lot of heat but, it really helps set the “mood” in our house.   We  recently had one of our granddaughters at our house.   As we rocked and read multiple stories of bears, princesses and magical places, we were comforted by the festive cozy feel the Enviro-Log gave our home .  We read a lot of books that afternoon and that one Enviro-Log burned the entire time.

Enviro-Log is on facebook and twitter.
