Mortimer Snodgrass is a unique gift store located in Montreal, Canada. Its name is as unique as the store itself and inspired by a dog and a former professional baseball player.

This store’s selection of products is somewhat eclectic: they offer clothing and accessories, spa and bath products, decor items and collectibles, products for kids (clothing, toys, and more), items for the home and the office, even gifts for your favorite furry friend. I love it when I can find everything under one roof (or virtual roof!) It’s a nice way to discover new products because I end up browsing categories that I wouldn’t necessarily think about when I purchase a gift for someone.

For this review, I received a Puddle Jumper Overnight Bag from Lug which is one of my favorite bag brands! This is the ultimate bag for an overnight trip but also for the gym. It has tons of pockets and compartments to keep everything organised. There is even a separate mesh pocket for shoes so smelly sneakers have their own designated spot.

I also received an Automoblox toy car. It is made of wood and plastic and can be taken apart and put together easily. There are 4 little people that sit in the car. Many models are offered and parts are interchangeable so it is possible to create a unique car by combining different parts from different models. My daughter is too young to take it apart but it runs very smoothly so she loves to push it around. I personally really like its futuristic look.

The last product I received was a Vapur Quenchers which is a foldable, reusable water bottle. It is also freezable. With such a convenient product, there is no more use for disposable water bottle! It is customizable with stickers so kids can create their own character. I haven’t customized mine yet because I’m waiting for my nieces to do it for my daughter (they are older and love to help her).

Not only is the selection of products great but Mortimer Snodgrass’ service is amazing. First of all, they ship worldwide! Their reasoning is quite simple: if you can receive mail, they can ship to you, no ifs, ands, or buts. They also offer to gift wrap your purchase which is nice, especially this time of year. You can simply make a purchase and send it directly to the person knowing that it’ll be nicely packaged and wrapped just for them.

They will try their best to accommodate whatever request you may have, from reserving a product for you to looking into ordering new products that you may be interested in if possible.

Throughout the whole process, the Mortimer Snodgrass team was more than helpful. They were enthusiastic and eager to provide me with the best shopping experience possible: the Snod-experience as they call it! They kept me updated about the status of my order, which items were in stock, etc. They made me feel like I wasn’t just one more customer but like they really cared about me.

I also appreciated receiving shipment information and being able to know when my package would arrive. When it arrived, items were nicely packaged and I was surprised to see that they even included a little surprise! They sent a Flying Heroes toys for my dogs as well as a reusable bag with their logo. I was told that this is something that they like to add when their regular customers place orders or when new clients place larger orders. I don’t know about you but I love surprises and I thought this one was great! Actually my daughter loves Mr. Bruce, our Flying Heroes toy because he squeeks and is soft and easy to hold so I might save it for her for a little while before I let my dogs take it over.
