I recently purchased all bamboo bedding. Because this was a significant financial investment for us, I wanted to make sure I ordered the right items. We have an older pillow-top mattress so I had a hard time deciding what size sheets to get. I have found that although our bed size is a standard queen, the queen size bedding with fitted pockets aren’t deep enough for our mattress. However, if I buy the next larger size bedding, it is too long for our bed. I decided that the lesser of two evils would be to go with a larger size bedding set and for me to try to find products that could maybe help me make the bedding fit better. You can imagine my joy, when I found the Holdup Suspender Company.

Holdup Suspender Company makes a variety of suspenders from the traditional and fashionable styles suitable for wearing to those that are designed for your bedding. I spoke with owner, Sal, and told him about my problems and how I thought his products could help. He agreed and for my review sent me Holdup Suspender’s Sheet Stay-Down Duo and Quad packs. Sheet Stay-Downs have Gripper Clasps that actually hold your sheet in place. They were carefully designed to ensure that they don’t harm the fabric…even delicate bamboo.

Duo pack has long Stay-Down mattress suspenders. They were designed to fit twin, queen and king sized mattresses. I was rotating our mattress so I took it completely off our bed however, that is NOT at all necessary for installing your Stay-Down suspenders. Simply clip the suspender to the underside of your sheet corner and then to the diagonal corner in the same way. Do this for all four sides.

Once the Stay-Down suspenders are on, you can easily tighten and/or loosen them by adjusting the tension straps. It really could not be any easier. I have had the Stay-Down suspenders on my bed for approximately 5 weeks; I LOVE them! They do exactly what I hoped they would do. Our large sheets now have a custom fit to our bed and they stay in place.

Quad pack has corner sized straps. They were designed to clip to both sides of the sheet on a corner and hold it in place. I am sure they will work perfectly; however, I had other plans for them. Along with my sheets being too long, our duvet cover was also too long. I wanted to see if I could attach a Stay-Down Suspender to the corner of my comforter and the interior corner of my duvet cover to kind of suspend my comforter within the duvet cover. Guess what…IT WORKED! I no longer have a comforter flopping from side to side inside my duvet cover. With the Sheet Stay-Downs, my comforter stays perfectly in place.
