I have a really big family and have tons of “practice” picking out baby shower items and baby gifts. Yet, I’m still always a bit overwhelmed by all of the options when I head to the store or look around online for baby gifts. For pacifiers, bottles and sippy cups I’ve noticed that many of them are limited to just a few months in age such as 0-6 months or 12-18 months, etc. I’ve never been a parent, but I’ve thought before “How are parents suppose to remember to quit using this pacifier after 6 months?” Surely they throw the packaging away soon after the baby is born, and I for one would certainly not remember something like that. Even if they did remember, so many babies get attached to a certain size or shape of pacifier or sippy cup nozzle, would they even be willing to change types at 6 months or 12 months? If not, then what? So I was immediately drawn to RaZbaby pacifiers when I saw that they are designed to be used from 0-36 months. They are recommended to be replaced every few months, but parents can rest easy knowing that they can simply purchase a new “version” of the same exact pacifier so their baby will still accept the pacifier. This seems much more practical to me.
The left picture shows the top pacifier open, the bottom one shut. The right image shows a pacifier with the left side open, the right side shut.
RaZbaby pacifiers are practical for several other reasons too. One really awesome feature is they are designed to stay clean (they call these keep it kleen pacifiers) even if they get dropped! Anyone who has spent time with a baby who is in the “drop it, pick it up, drop it again” stage will love this feature. From the back, the pacifier looks completely normal. When you flip it over, you’ll see that it has two plastic pieces that separate from the backside. If the pacifier is dropped, these two pieces automatically pull together, which covers the nipple of the pacifier before it hits the ground, protecting it from getting dirty! Of course, I had to test them out by intentionally dropping them several times and sure enough, it closed on its own each time.
If you wanted to cover pacifier on purpose (say you were wanting to toss it in the diaper bag) you can just pull the sides closed without dropping it as well. This makes these pacifiers great for taking along on the go.
(pacifiers personalized to say Kelsie)
Another reason why RaZbaby pacifiers are neat is because they can be personalized with your child’s name. My niece who is due to arrive in March is going to be named Kelsie. This isn’t the most common way to spell her name, so I’ve wondered how difficult it will be to find personalized items for her. I love how RaZbaby lets you type in the name as you need it made instead of selecting from a list of names.
RaZbaby pacifiers are sold online for $5.99 each for personalized pacifiers and $4.99 for non-personalized pacifiers. They also have oral care, teething products and binky clips available. Orders of $14.95 or higher ship for free in the US and Canada.
