I have never owned a heated throw, however, I have always wanted one.  I’m not quite sure why I never bought one, but after reviewing the Sunbeam Loftec Plush 50″x60″ Heated Throw with 3 Heat Settings I would definitely purchase one and recommend them to anyone.  Living in Georgia can be quite unpredictable when it comes to winter weather.  We had a threat of ice this week, but next week we are supposed to be close to 70 degrees.  It is absolutely crazy!  Having a heated blanket around definitely helps with the inconsistent weather.

Qvc.com sent me this super soft heated throw for review and we love it.  I say “we” because between myself, my husband and Little C it typically gets used every day.  It doesn’t seem to matter what the temperature is outside it never fails that one of us is cold.  This solves a huge problem!  We just grab the blanket and snuggle up!

There are several colors to choose from on qvc.com.  I received the Cranberry color and really like it.  The color is rich and actually matches everything in our apartment.  The blanket is soft, but you can feel the wires that are in it.  I was a little unsure of this because I didn’t know how hot the throw would actually get.  Like I said before, I have never owned a heated throw so this was a whole new experience for me.  The throw has loosened up some after being used, but still works just as well.  There are 3 heat settings which I also love, however, even if you put the heat setting on high it doesn’t get overwhelmingly hot.  There is a cord that comes with the blanket.  It attaches securely to the blanket and then you plug it into the wall.  The cord has not come loose at all since we have had it.  The blanket has a safety setting and will only stay on for 3 hours at a time.  I am a big fan of that feature.
