For our review, we received a feast that included: Hawaiian Cheese Ball, Mexican Meatloaf, Chicken Enchilada Soup, Cheesy Potato Casserole and Peanut Butter Pie.
It was perfect because the day my mixes arrived, prior to receiving them, I had no idea what to make for dinner…note that this is not a rare situation (that I don’t know what to fix for dinner). This happens most days of the week for me. I quickly decided to prepare the Cheesy Potato Casserole for my family. Preparation was super easy. I added the can of soup, milk and butter as the recipe instructed. The dish didn’t take long to cook. In a short amount of time, my family had a hot and homemade meal. I heard lots of MMMMs coming from the dinner table.
I was going to take a photo of the dish right out of the oven. I went to get my camera and came back to the baking dish empty and my family eating.
I have used The Gourmet Cupboard mixes before and they are consistently a favorite in our family. In addition to keeping the mixes in my pantry for our family, I try to keep a few on hand for last minute potluck invitations as well as for gifts. The Gourmet Cupboard mixes are a great way to gift a meal. I recently saw how appreciated a homemade meal was to a family going through a tough time. Preparing a meal is an easy way to let someone know you care.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
