We love popcorn around my house! My husband works at night and Little C doesn’t go to school on Friday so the two of us typically have a movie/game night together every Thursday or Friday. It is something special that I can do with Little C and he loves it. I love it as well and know that these years with him are so very special. When I was asked to review some popcorn from Gaslamp I jumped at the chance. This was not only a review for me, but something Little C could participate in.
Gaslamp Popcorn has been around since 1998 and quickly became a top pick for popcorn lovers. Gaslamp Popcorn is getting ready to hit the stores so you will be able to purchase this fantastic popcorn right along with the rest of your groceries. There are 3 different flavors to choose from. There is White Cheddar, Cinnamon Carmel and Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn.
I was sent the Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn to review. I was a little bit nervous because Little C and I had tried a different brand of kettle corn around Halloween and neither one of us liked it. I can’t really pinpoint why, but it ended up going in the trash. I tried the popcorn first and the taste was excellent. There was just enough sweet and just enough salty to make this popcorn work! I knew the real test would come when I gave some of the popcorn to Little C. Although he is only 4 he knows what he likes and what he doesn’t like. There is no talking him into eating anything! Little C and I sat down on the couch with our popcorn in hand and the movie on. I had not told Little C that this was a new popcorn. I just wanted to see what his reaction would be. He took his first little bite and looked at me and said, “MMM, this is good!” I knew we had a winner! Another good point about the popcorn was that it tasted very fresh. It wasn’t sticky at all either. That is a big deal to me. I don’t like sweet popcorn that is sticky. Little C and I just loved the Gaslamp Popcorn that we received and will definitely be buying some when it hits the stores here in Georgia.
