Oh, yeah definitely a step up from the floor! I was stuck in the hospital for about 3 weeks after I was born and my parents talk about how part of that time, they shared a single reclining chair and they both slept that way somehow. It was all that was in the room so they found a way.

I like how it goes form a bed to a couch. This would be fantastic for sleeep overs or even for unexpected guests and likely way more comfortable than a couch!

That way a parent could sleep next to their child’s bed at night. Wasn’t so great for taller parents, but it was better than seeing them lay down on a hard tiled floor with just a blanket to get some rest off and on.
