BUYER BEWARE!!
These guys will rip you off. I never got my order, I asked to cancel they said it was shipped. Now 3 weeks after being told that it still has not shipped.
They stole my money and will not respond.
We must get them out of business. They are con artists

Do Not order from this Shady company!!!
I had the same experience as most mentioned here. I placed an order on December 1 2020 and still have not received any thing 1/4/21.
They state a “no refund” policy and how true. Plus if you are not home on a week day at 1130 to sign for your order, back is goes to them and they charge you a 35% restocking fee plus shipping and taxes.
Stay away! Far far away!

Like the other reviews, Cask Cartel is completely untrustworthy. I placed an order on Dec 10th, it’s almost a full month later – they took my money and sent me nothing. Complete scam, I am so upset… Save yourself the stress and avoid!

Do NOT recommend Cask Cartel for any purchase. Very bad experience. They switched my bottle order to something similar but cheaper but kept the same price thinking I would not notice. I caught the ruse only because they were taking forever to ship the order. I requested the order to be canceled while it was still clearly marked on the website order page as “unfulfilled”. But they ignored my request and made up a bogus shipping label in the middle of the night in order to pretend there was no way to stop the order. After telling me they had no way to stop the order which still didn’t ship for two days after the label was created, they suddenly could stop the order but only if I paid a $150 shall we say extortion fee…true to their name. Ridiculous…never dealt with an online retailer that shady. By the way, they are only Middle men. They own ZERO inventory even though their website would have you believe otherwise. This should have been the first warning sign. Lesson learned..read reviews first!

It took 2 weeks to receive my order. When I got it, part of it just wasn’t there. I kept asking them about the missing pieces, took pictures–the box wasn’t even large enough to have held the full order. Finally when I got paypal involved, they agreed to refund me the money for the missing item. They blamed others for every issue. That’s not the way to have a successful business, especially for what are luxury items. I would NOT recommend.

Wish I would have found these reviews before I ordered. First they shipped me sometimes else’s order, which I returned, and a month later still waiting for my order. All I get from them is excuses. They blame it on coronavirus stay at home order, but it’s obvious from the rest of the older reviews on here all they have is excuses. Be warned; once they have your money, you are on your own, and you may never see what you ordered. BTW, they DO NOT abide by their guarantee or 30 day refund policy. Completely fraudulent.

Cask Cartel is expensive. Most of the bottles they have can be found for far less at Total Wine or ABC. Total wine and ABC could charge for shipping and still be cheaper than Cask Cartel. This is a hard pass.

Ordered 3 bottles of Whiskey in early April. Only one was delivered. Contacted customer service, Chris same day and sent pictures of the delivery. Was told my remaining bottles which I paid for were on the way. A month later..I’m still waiting. I have sent numerous emails and have not gotten a response. This is theft. They have my money.

Worst experience ever. Orderd from them for my husbands bday. That came and went. Order never came. I contacted them several times for resolution. No response. Asked them to cancel my order. No response. They finally send me an email a week after my husbands birthday asking if I would like to cancel. I reply YES. They never cancel order. A few days later I get an email that my order is on the way. It sitting in preparing shipping status another few days. Then yesterday it says shipped. I call again to try to get a manager on the phone. They state that is not possible and they can’t help me in any way. Now I have a product on the way to me I dont want and have no need for. After the company flat out ignored many attempts to get in touch with them by phone and email.

I am in agreement – thought I would give them a chance. But after I ordered the items, I found them a LOT CHEAPER elsewhere – but am willing to pay a little more for good service (but as it turned out – I paid a considerable amount more for poor service). When the order was not shipped within a reasonable period of time (it was over 3 weeks) and my credit card was already charged (it was charged on the day I placed the order) – I emailed to what was up and all I was given was excuse after excuse. With the excuses and told me I could not cancel the order because it was already placed – but as it turned out their supplier hadn’t even received the goods yet. So they charged me for an order that wasn’t even available and for which they told me I could not cancel. When I finally did receive the order – it was not packaged in the foam packing that I paid extra for…..I will NEVER buy another thing from this company.

I also ordered recently from Cask Cartel and had two issues (and 3 days have passed since I emailed them a complaint with no reply yet!):
– I ordered one brand of limoncello but received a completely different one. The limoncello I ordered was supposed to be in a decorative tin. The one I got was bottle only. And the one I got I could get locally or online at a cheaper price – not good.
– When I was placing my order, they showed a promotion that offered a product free of charge. This is one of the reasons why I ordered the limoncello from them and not from 2 other online sites that had it at a similar price. The promo ad showed several products and said “Free Sample Gift Estimated Value $20.00” What I got “for free” were 4 tiny 50ml plastic bottles of a coffee liqueur and rum that they don’t even sell on their website. Checking other sites, I saw that 750ml bottles of this item sold for $15. So, my 4 micro plastic bottles had a value of about $4 – making their promo ad was an outright lie!

My experience with them is mixed. On one hand we have access to a larger variety of products but because they simply operate by having other retailers ship their orders, there is a massive accountability gap. For example I ordered two items from them, one I could not find anywhere locally and another I COULD find locally but I thought I’d give Cask my full business.
Long story short they sent the wrong item. The incorrect item was the one I could have bought at the store (Balvenie 12 year single barrel) and when I received the package there was no packing slip and no information I could give to Cask to show proof of what happened. They gave me two options: 1 send the bottle back and wait for a replacement, 2 receive a $7.00 credit – for an over $200.00 order before Christmas time that was actually a Christmas gift.
In this day and age consumers don’t have the time or patience for that stuff. I sell online as well, I sell products I hand make myself and if *I* screw up and send the wrong item to a customer, I am not putting the burden on them to send it back before I correct my own mistake. I feel that in order to maintain trust, if a business screws up, they need to deal with it WITHOUT inconveniencing the customer.

My main point is, if you can get it from a local store, even if you have to drive a ways to get it, DON’T order it through Cask Cartel. They don’t have full communication with their “retailers” and it leaves the customer open for all the consequences.

Horrible company! I have ordered two products on December 4 2019 for Christmas. I emailed then called on the 20th and they assured me it would all be here for Christmas. I needed it before today, but still haven’t received anything! This was my only gift for one of my best friends. I have emailed 3 times without any response . I will not order again from this company, that’s for certain!

These are great ideals so many fathers would rather have this then another tie or shirt. I can remember years ago my sister in law taking my nieces shopping for fathers day. They told mom what they wanted to get dad so mon bought but the girls gave her the money. Budweiser beer, he liked his gift!
