20 Ways To Eat SPAM Meat
Hungry? What's for dinner is a question you'll hear often around my home. Everyone always wants to know. I love making home cooked meals for my family but sometimes I just don't have enough time! Or I can make some parts from scratch but need a little help on the sides. So I like to turn to packaged rices, pastas, and bagged salads for a little time saving help when needed. One food item I find that many people use is SPAM. While my favorite way to serve up SPAM is cut into small pieces Read more [...]
Beat The Heat With Pampered Chef’s Quicksicle Maker
I received the Pampered Chef Quicksicle Maker to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
I hope your summer is going well! Time is flying but we are still trying to soak in every spare moment outside, when possible. This summer has been so much fun. Grandma’s Zesty Italian Veggie Pasta Salad {Recipe}
This is my favorite pasta salad recipe. I love the variety of veggies in it. It's the perfect fresh summer salad. I appreciate that it does not have any ingredients that you need to worry about spoiling quickly if sits out - such as mayo, cheese, meat or eggs. It makes a large batch, perfect for taking to get-togethers!
Ingredients:
5 Ribs of Celery
2 Roma Tomatoes
1/2 Container of Button Mushrooms
1/2 Large Red Onion
1 Large Cucumber
1 Can Black Olives
1 Package Wacky Mac or Rainbow Rotini Read more [...]

Savannah (11 years old) asked Read more [...]
How To Make A Great Cake {From A Box!}
I get a lot of compliments on my cakes and cupcakes when I bring them places. And now that our daughter is getting older, she's also taken to the kitchen. So she's been creating a variety of cake items for our bi-weekly Bible Study too. And they always get rave results. But one of the first questions I get asked is "Did you make this cake from scratch?" Honestly, I don't! They always come from a box but I "doctor" it up a bit. And I've taught our daughter to do the same.
