Thank you to Nonni’s Biscotti for sending me samples of their THINaddictives, free of charge, for review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

THIN 4

Nonni’s Biscotti THINaddictives came from a cherished secret family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation and contains real whole cranberries, raisins, almonds, and pistachios.  Founded in 1988, Nonni’s is using the original recipe of the founder’s grandmother who had emigrated from Italy.  The team at THINaddictives strives to prove that no two cookies are ever alike. Because the team believes this, they work diligently so no two THINaddictives are identical and take pride in the home like style of being non-uniform.  THINaddictives combines tradition with the modern manufacturing capabilities of todays world and brings that product to you.

THINaddictives sent me samples of their Cranberry Almond Thins, Cinnamon Raisin Almond Thins, and Pistachio Almond Thins.  I pack up a breakfast for my husband each morning and bring it out to him in the barn.  When he awakes as 3 AM, he usually eats a bowl of cereal but by 7:30, he’s ready for breakfast number two.  I typically make him an egg sandwich with onions, peppers, and mushrooms and then pack some other snacks and goodies as well.  Since I wanted his opinion, I tossed in a pack of the Pistachio THINaddictives.  When he first saw them, he wasn’t sure what to think.  He knows I try to sneak in “healthy” stuff with a goody and he was hesitant.  About a month ago I sent along a “healthy” snack that he sent back with our kids with a note reading “Return To Sender.”  Clearly, the lime and pineapple flavored treat I had purchased didn’t thrill him.  The kids found it utterly hilarious though.  However, being the good sport he is, he tried the THINaddictives.  Verdict:  “Surprisingly good!” was his answer.

The rest of our family were next in line to test Nonni’s THINaddictives.  We broke open a box of the Cinnamon Raisin Almond Thins.  They were also a hit.  Perfect little snack for on the go.  I really like the mini packages they come in.  Each 4.44 oz. box contains six 100-calorie packages of cookies.  Each package contains three Almond Thins.  I like this for multiple reasons:  Very easy to travel.  Just grab a package and go.  Plus, you won’t have half a box get stale after someone opens it and forgets about them.  Even our (just turned) one year old gave them a try.  He has only started on real food within the last week and he enjoyed his snack too.  I was careful to make sure his piece didn’t have any almonds though.

Nonni’s Biscotti is the only national brand sold coast to coast and are the most popular selling biscotti on the market.  THINaddictives are made with real eggs and butter.  The name Biscotti comes from “bis” which means twice in Italian and “cot to” meaning baked.  Our family really enjoyed these cookies and we think you will too!  If you are looking for a great alternative to the unhealthy snacks and treats that are out there, check out Nonni’s Biscotti THINaddictives. They even have a Chocolate Version you can order online.
