My husband starting recording our children’s heights on the wall of our laundry room a couple years ago. We just recently remodeled and turned that laundry room into an office so I needed to repaint. While my husband wanted me to just leave that chunk of wall untouched, I couldn’t bring myself to do that. So I recorded all the dates and heights on a paper so I could rewrite them after the room was finished. However, I decided that I didn’t want to just chicken scratch on the wall again this time, I wanted a nice growth chart to aide our recordings. That is where Growth Chart Art comes in.

I was sent the Owls Growth Chart for Boys or Girls for review.  I was thrilled when I visited Growth Chart Art and saw all the beautiful wooden growth charts they had available.  I had a hard time choosing one because so many caught my eye.  I settled on the adorable Owls Growth Chart because of the multiple colors and I liked all the owls hanging out together in the tree.  It made me think of family, unity, and love.

The Owl Growth Chart arrived in a sturdy cardboard package and I couldn’t wait to get it open.  Once out of the package, I fell in love with it.  The colors were beautiful and the design is flawless.  The chart is made from formaldehyde free plywood and is built to last.  Soy-based inks are used that are both rich and contain a UV technology that will preserve the designs for 100 years.  The back of the growth chart comes with a hook and six sticky “tabs” that hold the chart in place.  One of my biggest pet peeves is when pictures, artwork, and wall hangings go crooked.  You won’t have to worry with your Growth Chart Art products.  A nice sturdy wooden growth chart is so much nicer than a flimsy paper one.  Plus, it took less than five minutes to hang.

Since we currently have four children, I’m choosing to mark the wall next to the chart but you could write on the chart if you wanted.  I like having a place to record their growth again and the kids enjoy seeing how much they change.  If you have never kept a growth chart, I encourage you to try it.  It’s amazing to see how fast the kids grow right before your eyes from year to year (or however often you choose to mark).  You can also choose to have your Growth Chart personalized for a small fee.
