It seems like life is always so busy. A few days rarely go by where we don’t have to run errands, visit someone, run get groceries, or just head to the library for some reading time. Just this past week we took a visit to the library for their story hour and then went for a walk around town. (Since we live in the country on a dirt road, we have to make a point to go somewhere to “take a walk.”) When we do run short errands or head somewhere for a short period of time such as the library or church, it’s nice to have a small bag to take our baby supplies in.  While large diaper bags are handy for some days, most often, I prefer a small one.  I like to leave one of my big bags in the car at all times so I’m prepared but it’s such a chore to have to drag it in to the stores with me when out and about.  So I went on the search for a compact bag that would still be able to provide for our needs.  I came across the company Ah Goo Baby and they agreed to partner for this review.

I was sent the Grab & Go Bag in Midnight.  This bag is compact.  It measures in at only 10″ by 12″ by 5″.  While measuring in small, this bag packs a big punch for practicality and usability.  There are pockets, compartments, and great features located throughout this bag.

1: Zippered pocket on outer flap.  Includes mini pocket for credit cards, id, or change.
2: Side velcro pocket for easy access while also being insulated for bottles and cups.
3: Expandable waterproof compartment.
4: Zippered mesh pocket perfect for smaller items such as pacifiers, lotion, or hand sanitizer.
5: Adjustable shoulder strap with cushion and stroller rings for ease of attaching to stroller.
6: Another gusseted side pocket.
7: Anti-microbial interior lining that is easily pulled out for cleaning and includes crumb drains in the back pocket of the bag.
8: Organized interior space.

The Ah Goo Baby Grab & Go Bag is a really great size.  I am easily able to fit everything I need  for a day out.  Because the Grab & Go Bag is small, it is almost impossible for me to overpack.  Typically, I pack for a week (so my husband says) when we leave the house for an hour and the diaper bag is super heavy.  Not any more!  While the Grab & Go Bag has many great features, my favorite is that it is machine washable!  I think this is the first diaper bag I’ve ever seen that is.  I have been bringing this bag everywhere with me and it has been such a blessing.  It’s so easy to carry and I am able to find everything I need quickly.  Because it is so compact, nothing gets lost at the bottom on me either.  I have been to church, Fall Expo, and town shopping with this bag and love it more each time I use it.

The second item I received from Ah Goo Baby is the Stroller Blanket in Gumdrop.  I really like that The Stroller Blanket comes with a carrying/travel bag.  Baby blankets seem to get dirty with minimal use.  Ours seem to get the dirtiest during transport so I like that the bag will allow the blanket to stay clean when not in use.  The Stroller Blanket is a combination of 100% cotton and brushed minky fabric.  Measuring in at 41″ by 30″, I feel like this is a great blanket for use in the stroller, infant carseat, and even for an older child in their carseat during cooler weather.  Our 15 month old seemed to take to the blanket right away.  I’m not sure if it was the bright beautiful colors or the softness, but he really enjoys it.  The only thing I would like to see is the fabric samples a little larger on the ordering page.  I hadn’t realized that the Gumdrop material was so “girly” when I chose it.  I love when companies allow you to click on samples and then see the full product in that pattern/design.
