I’ve mentioned before that Ryan & I enjoy Tyrrells chips, as I’ve reviewed them a couple of times in the past. They’re yummy chips, but they’re more than that, too. They’re a unique type of chip for a few reasons. They’re much crunchier than most chips, they have the potato skins left on and they have unique flavors. My favorite is Mature Cheddar & Chive, but I also really enjoy Lightly Sea Salted, Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar and Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper. They’re so crunchy that they really hit the spot when i’m craving salty and crunchy snacks. They’re addicting, too. It’s so easy to sit with a bag of them and eat way too many at once if you’re browsing the internet or watching TV. I sometimes crave them when we don’t have any around.
Now that we’re into November, most of us will be spending lots of time with family members and sharing lots of great foods. If you’re looking for a snack food to put out that is a little change from years past, try offering Tyrrell’s – I bet your guests won’t be disappointed.
Seems how they are so crunchy, I thought of them as more of an adults chip at first but my 6 year old niece tried them one day and then kept asking for more, so the please the young ones too.
The chips are good, but the company is interesting too. They still make their chips in small batches by hand, so that each batch can be given the attention that it deserves. Those with gluten intolerances will be excited to learn that Tyrrell’s products are gluten free, and several of their varieties are vegetarian and vegan friendly as well.
Want to see where you can purchase Tyrrells near you? Use their store locator to find out.
Win it: A Tyrrells prize package that includes a full size bag of each of their 6 flavors! Lightly sea salted, Sea salt & cider vinegar, Mature cheddar & chives, sweet chili & red pepper, sea salt & cracked black pepper and worcestershire sauce & sundried tomato. This giveaway is open to the US and will end 11/14.

I don’t normally eat chips but do love anything with vinegar on them. I don’t need to watch my salt like some of my family members so I’d go ahead and try them, with vinegar first in line!
These sound so good-especially the cheese and chives.
