I wear slippers inside a lot during the fall and winter because we try to keep the thermostat a bit lower to save money. I used to changed into shoes to go and get the mail but now that I have dogs needing out multiple times a day (and I go out with them) it was a bit of a pain to take my slippers off and shoes on 5+ times a day. So I started looking for slippers that could be worn outside and came across LUGZ Laurel shoes which are soft suede on the outside, and fuzzy faux fur on the inside to keep my feet warm while being really comfortable. Yet, they have rubber traction outer-soles so they can be worn outside without being damaged on the bottom.

I typically wear a size 7.5 and seems how these come in whole sizes only I went with an 8. They fit but I wish I had went up a size because they’re a bit tight width wise if I put socks on with them, even thin socks. My feet hang over the sides of the soles a tiny bit so if I go out in the wet grass, the dampness gets through on the edges of the sides a bit. Otherwise, I like everything about my LUGZ Shoes. They’re comfortable and easy to slip on and while they’re warm, my feet don’t overheat or sweat in them. The outside gets wet looking if I go outside in the wet grass but after they dry, they don’t show any lasting stains or signs that they were previously damp. I’ve had them about a month now and even with daily use, the outsides don’t show signs of being worn down which tells me they truly are made for being outside, as house slippers wouldn’t have held up like they have. Yet, they’re comfortable enough that they seem like slippers to me. They’re the best of both worlds, in a sense.

The pair of Laurel shoes that I have are referred to as ” Brown/Beige/Taupe” on the LUGZ website and they have lots of other colors to choose from including other shades of brown, purple, greys, blues, blacks, etc. LUGZ also has other slip on shoes and boots for women as well as boots and shoes for men and children.
