 Belleek is an Irish pottery company that was established in the 1850’s. Their products are well-known throughout the world and even in their early years, their reputation for offering high-quality porcelain appealed to nobility. Even Queen Victoria possessed some Belleek pottery!

Nowadays, Belleek offers both decorative and useful pottery works. They still offer many classic pieces and designs but they also have many contemporary items as well. Belleek acquired Galway Irish Crystal, Aynsley China, and Donegal China which added to the diversity of products they offer. Belleek now designs and creates beautiful homeware, tableware, jewelry, and gifts which are sure to please!

For this review, I received the stunning Willow Vase from the Belleek Living line. It is approximately 12 inches high and 7 inches wide. The vase is a rich creamy white color. In the widest part of the vase, there is a beautiful relief of flowers and greenery between two pearly bands. The monochromatic design and the shape of the vase give it a modern yet timeless look. The relief is a very nice detail that adds a bit of flair and subtle elegance. I think it would make a great present since it will work an any decor and because it’s white, it can be filled with flowers of any color.

Belleek also offers many Christmas-themed products including figurines, votives, tableware, and of course hanging ornaments! I received 2 beautiful baubles: a Star Bauble Ornament and a Frost and Flake Bauble Ornament from the Belleek Classic line. Both items are the same rich creamy white color as the vase. The Star Bauble has an elongated shape with 3 handpainted shamrocks on one side and 4 relief stars on the other side with a golden outline. I like the reference to the Irish heritage and I think anyone with Irish roots would appreciate it as well. The Frost and Flake Bauble is monochromatic and has snowflakes in relief that cover the entire ornament. This is my favorite ornament because it’s understated until you take a closer look at it and notice all the delicate details and the quality of it. As an ornament collector, this is a piece that I absolutely love and I think it would be a great addition to any Christmas tree!
