I’ve had an iPhone for almost a year now. Previously, I was using an old style flip phone that ended up lasting me eight years. About a year into my last phone, though, we thought she was a goner. Our 2nd child was about a year and a half and was running around the house while I took a shower. He grabbed my phone and sat down on the bathroom floor and began pretending to call people (no harm in that, right?) as I got ready. I was in the middle of doing my hair when he stood up and started walking. He made a beeline for the toilet and threw my phone in before I could even react to the situation that was unfolding right in front of me! Thankfully, the toilet had clean water and I dove over and grabbed the phone out. It had powered off and refused to turn back on. I was convinced it was done and had plans to go to town the next day to replace it. Imagine my surprise and delight when I awoke the next morning and tried turning my phone on and it had revived itself and worked! My trusty old phone went on to provide me service for another seven years before my husband said it didn’t pay to replace the battery in it again and insisted on upgrading me to an iPhone. Now that I’ve enjoyed all that my new phone has to offer, my favorite feature is a camera because my old phone didn’t have one, I couldn’t imagine going without it. I know that it’s important to protect my iPhone and I was happy to partner with DriSuit for this review and giveaway.

driSuit Technologies is based out of Stowe, Vermont, and the staff is very active in outdoor sports and activities. From skiing, snowboarding, cycling, hunting, climbing, fishing, scuba diving, surfing, and more, iPhone users want the assurance that their phones will be safe. Eighteen months of designing, preparation, and testing resulted with the driSuit Endurance. From there, the Guardian 5 was created for the newest iPhone.
Since I have an iPhone 4s, I was able to test out the Endurance case. It was fairly easy to get my phone in to and secured. The two grey flaps flip up to release the bottom “cap” and easily flip tight and secure the cap back on after the phone is inserted. While it takes a little getting used to the feel of the Fluidic Touchscreen Membrane, it’s great to be able to use my iPhone even when I have wet hands. The only thing I would love to see changed is a way to charge my phone without removing the end cap. However, this is a small price to pay in exchange of having a waterproof case. It literally only takes 30 seconds max to pop the cap off and plug my phone in. The Endurance would be a great case for anyone who works in wet environments or spends a lot of time outdoors.
The Guardian and Endurance are both impressive cases. They both feel well made, secure, and I really like the fact that they are waterproof. My husband now thinks he should get an iPhone 5 since he has the case so we will have to see what Christmas brings.

I have a driSuit Guardian on my iPhone 5S and I can hear perfectly and I have not had any complaints about not being able to be heard.

I’ve had a couple waterproof cases and people always have a hard time hearing me when they call. I have yet to find a good, protective, waterproof or resistant case that people can hear me clearly on. How does this one rate? Ruby
