Holly had a passion for creating jewelry and started out by making beach sand jewelry for family and friends. Then, she realized that most people have a special memory tied to a beach area. With these cherished memories, customers would really enjoy a unique piece of jewelry featuring sand from that special beach.  After a 10-year career in real estate, Holly decided to take a leap of faith and turn her passion for make jewelry into her full-time job.

Dune Jewelry offers an array of jewelry items. Pieces can be personalized with sand from your special beach. You can choose sand from a list of beaches Dune Jewelry offers or you can send in your own sand and have it used to create a completely unique piece of jewelry. For this reason, I think Dune Jewelry makes a great holiday gift for women.

For my review, I was able to personalize a Sandollar Necklace with sand from our closest coast. I was really excited to see my necklace in person. It looked great on the computer, but I wanted to see it up close, feel it and see if I could tell that it was sand.

I am impressed with my Sandollar Necklace. It was everything I had hoped it would be and then some. It is a nice weight.  I can tell I am wearing a necklace but it doesn’t feel heavy. It is very well made and yes, you can tell it is sand when you look at it closely. My Sandollar Necklace is a beautiful piece of art. I really like it and am happy to tell others about it.
