Thank you Mauviel

These are my own honest opinions.

In addition to their copper products, Mauviel also offers aluminum and stainless steel cookware. Their products please home cooks and professional chefs alike. For this review, I received a Stainless Steel Paella Pan from the M’Elite Collection. It is 13.7 inches in diameter and has a 4.1 quart capacity. The M’Elite Collection is made of 5-ply 18/10 stainless steel and has a beautiful handmade polished and hammered exterior. It is designed to be used to cook and then serve. Because of its size and the hammered exterior with the large handles, this piece is literally a show stopper!
This pan is designed to work on all cooking surfaces and because of its thickness, heat is evenly distributed. It can withstand temperatures up to 680°F. The sleek surface is easy to clean and it’s actually dishwasher safe. The edge is designed to prevent dripping and the handles are large for easy lifting and they are positioned in such a way that they stay cool when you use the pan on your cooktop.
I LOVE this pan! First of all, this is the largest pan that I have and I love the flexibility that it gives me. Obviously, despite the name, this pan can be used to cook tons of dishes. Today, I made yummy sauteed potatoes as you can see in the picture. It’s great for cooking large pieces of meat – or large quantities of anything for that matter – for many people at once. I also like that it’s entirely made of stainless steel so I don’t have to worry about the handles, the rivets, or a non-stick coating when I want to use it in the oven. Speaking of handles, I like how they go up instead of out. It takes up less space in my cupboards – the pan itself is already large so if the handles were out, it would take up even more room. I thought they’d get hot but they don’t because they are quite big so the heat from the pan and the food doesn’t reach them.
I love how this pan looks. The polished and hammered exterior shines like a multi-faceted mirror. I wish I had one of those fancy hanging racks for pots and pans so I could display it! Until that day comes, I’m definitely taking advantage of any opportunity I have to use this beautiful pan as a serving dish.
I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to review Mauviel’s M’Elite Paella Pan. It’s not only a gorgeous piece of cookware but it’s also very well designed and easy to use and clean. If you know someone who likes to cook, look no further for a great Christmas present! Mauviel has you covered!
