I try to think outside the box sometimes when it comes to gift giving. I like giving fun toys, games, dolls, and such but I also like to include something useful. No, I don’t mean socks and underwear which would be the “useful” stuff I received (and disliked) growing up.  I’m sure most people understand that feeling and have been on the receiving end of these useful presents.  The funny part now is that I would love to receive some of those useful items!  The joys of growing up is my view on a great gift has changed.

When I hear the name Stokke®, I used to immediately think “baby furniture.”  It turns out that they are so much more than that.  I was blessed to work with them in the past and you can read my previous reviews Here and Here .

The Tripp Trapp® is geared from 6 months through life.  This would make a great First Christmas gift for a baby, a special present for a young child, and also a really unique and useful gift for your teen that’s heading off to college.  A great feature about this chair is that it is adjustable for each stage in life and there are several different color options available to suit every personality.  It’s easy to assemble and adjust to boot.

We are such big fans of the Stokke® Tripp Trapp® that each of our four children have one.  I am thrilled that we invested in a quality product that will be with them for a long time.  Since each child has their own, they will be able to take it with them when they move out, get married, and even be able to pass it on to their own children.  Or they can keep using it for themselves as it makes a great desk chair.  The Tripp Trapp® is made solid and sturdy to stand the test of time.  We have a great Amish dining room set but whenever we have company, it’s the Tripp Trapps® that get sat on first, by adults and children alike.  The Tripp Trapp® just seem to beckon everyone.  I do think the variety of colors we have around the table adds to the appeal as well.

There are some great accessories also available for use with the Tripp Trapp®.  The Baby Set and Cushions come in a variety of colors and patterns and there is also a Tray and Table Top available.  The Cushion can add a great “Pop” of color to the Tripp Trapp and give it the finishing touch.  Our newest Tripp Trapp® is taking the honor of becoming our desk chair in the school room.  The kids are thrilled to swap out the old stained-up computer chair with a beautiful white Tripp Trapp® with an Art Stripe Cushion.  While this chair is now the hit of our school room, it would be the popular seat of a dorm room too.  I love that it has a small footprint yet is comfortable and stylish.  I need to get myself one next and retire my big clumsy computer chair!
