*I was provided with DVD sets in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
I’ve seen the idea passed around about a Christmas eve gift set that I know a lot of people are doing. Basically it includes a set of PJ’s for the kids, a movie for the whole family to watch together and then movie snacks like popcorn or hot cocoa. Even before I knew of this idea, it was common for my family to watch a Christmas movie together on Christmas eve. I have siblings that were late teenagers when I was born and they love catching the classic Christmas movies like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty The Snowman, but we always had to try to catch it as it aired on TV before. Now, we can own the set on DVD so we can watch it whenever we like! The Original Christmas Classics Gift Set includes Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman, Frosty Returns, Santa Claus is Comin to Town, Mr. Magoos Christmas Carol, The Little Drummer Boy and Cricket on the Hearth. Right now it’s just $12.99 on Amazon!
For kids or families into some of the more modern movies, Dreamworks has another Christmas Movie Set (simply called the Dreamworks Holiday Collection) for modern movies. This set includes Kung Fu Panda Holiday, Dragons Holiday: Gift Of The Night Fury, Merry Madagascar and Shrek The Halls. Kids who are familiar with the original versions of these movies will be excited to see their favorite characters in a new Christmas themed movie. Seems how there are multiple movies in the set, you could buy it now and watch a movie a night leading up to Christmas! This set is also just $12.99 on Amazon right now.
Both sets are a great way to spend time together as a family or even create a family tradition around!

We have both sets and love them! The classics are always playing in our home and the kids have the Dreamworks collection playing on the iPad.
