Our family truly loves books.  We cherish the time we get to spend reading to our children because we know they grow so fast and won’t always be around to snuggle up with and read to.  So for now, our nightly family story time is a little piece of Heaven on Earth for us.  Everyone settles in, the business of the day calms, the little boys become quiet, and we get to spend this time together in one room enjoying the simple act of reading a story.  Reading a personalized book for the children brings even more value to our time together and all of the kids now have books that include them.

This beautiful book, “Blessings For _____” is an adorable book that is able to be personalized with a name.  Throughout the book, in poem style, the selected name flows in and out of the blessings/story.  The verbiage is beautiful and well-written but the illustrations really pack an extra punch.  The children are just enthralled with the pictures throughout this story and it’s not hard to see why.  The brilliant colors and life-like pictures draw their eyes and hold their attention.  Even our youngest, who this book is for, loves to sit and stare.  At just 18 months, he has already taken a liking to his “Blessings For Sam” story book.  With a sturdy hard cover, solid binding, and personalized message, this book is sure to be treasured for years to come.

Customer Service:

The first thing I learned about FlattenMe during this review is that their customer service is outstanding.  The original book I received had a couple of fairly small flaws: The line of words at the top was slightly crooked as well as the cover being slightly off and the inside lining sticking out a little.  Upon bringing this to their attention, they immediately requested that I allow them to send me a new book.  We all know that sometimes, damaged products slip through and I imagine that the first book got stuck in a machine or went in slightly crooked.  Either way, FlattenMe quickly stepped forward to resolve the issue.

I feel that this particular book would make an exceptional baptism, dedication, or birthday gift.  What a great way to honor a child.  Because you can include a dedication at the front, this one-of-a-kind keepsake is even more special.
