My love for Gymboree children’s apparel and accessories started with an introduction by my Grandmother-in-law. Ever since my oldest daughter’s first Christmas, my Grandmother-in-law has been gifting my daughters items from Gymboree. I had never heard of Gymboree prior to her gift. Now, Gymboree has become my go-to store for my daughters’ wardrobes.

When it came time to create a list of companies I wanted to feature in our 2013 Holiday Gift Guide, I knew Gymboree had to be on that list! I think Gymboree items make great holiday gifts for boys and girls. They have cute and affordable merchandise. They offer apparel, accessories, outerwear and footwear for kids ages newborn up to 12 years old. On their website, they even have a tab for stocking-stuffer gift ideas.

For our review, we were sent a Gymboree gift card. I was able to take advantage of store sales, a generous $25 off coupon and my gift card to purchase a new outfit for each daughter.

Our nearest Gymboree store is about an hour’s drive from our home so we opted to shop online. We sat around the computer and began looking for an outfit the girls could wear to our family’s Christmas gathering and that would be a good school outfit after the holidays. They both ended up choosing items from the new Color Happy collection. The Color Happy collection is made of bright colors, fun patterns and pieces perfect for layering. They will easily be able to mix and matching their clothing items to create new outfits.

Neither Savannah nor Cheyenne were in the mood to take serious photos….gotta love kids. They simply don’t understand when mom has a photo deadline.

Savannah picked the Stripe Hooded Cardigan, Best Gal Pals Tee, Polka Dot Twill Pants, Pom Pom Clips and a blue Sparkle Bead Ribbon Necklace.

Cheyenne selected the Polar Bear Knit Sweater, Pom Pom Heart Tee, Color Pop Gem Pants, Winter Friends Clips and a pink flower bead necklace (no longer on the website).

The girls will look great in their new outfits at our Christmas party.  I can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends.
