I received product from PowerSox for this review. All opinions are my own.
As I shared earlier, we always gift socks for Christmas. It’s just one of those items we always seem to need. My husband is particularly tough on his socks. I suspect it is a combination of being on his feet all day, working in rough work environments and wearing rugged work boots.
This year, I turned to PowerSox for his new socks. PowerSox are a family brand along with GoldToe socks. PowerSox were designed with athletic performance in mind. They are constructed with moisture wicking fibers, a contour fit, selective cushioning, flat seams along the toes, air circulation panels and arch support. I think PowerSox make great holiday gifts, especially if you have an athlete on your shopping list. PowerSox will help them go the distance and perform their best.
For our review, we received assorted Power-Lites socks and Advanced Dry socks.
The PowerSox we received feel wonderful. They have a snug fit to help reduce foot friction. The material is thick enough to provide comfort yet thin enough to allow your foot to “breathe”. I think these will be perfect for my husband, whether he is hanging out with the family, working in the shop or out on the jobsite exposed to Oregon weather. I am sure he will appreciate the temperature regulating fabric and the cushion support.
While I was out doing some Black Friday shopping, I noticed a husband and wife filling a shopping cart with PowerSox and GoldToe socks. I told them that I liked their brand selection and commented that they were my favorite socks. They agreed and said that they wait for this specific store to have them on sale and then they stock-up. I am going to assume they too give some as gifts because I can’t imagine the two of them using all of the socks that they had in their cart.
You can connect with PowerSox on facebook and twitter.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Having a quality men’s sock choice is important! I never heard of this brand, but I will definitely keep my eyes peeled now!

Emily – my husband is also rough on his socks! (Must be a guy thing…). I was familiar with Gold Toe, but not the PowerSox, so thanks for introducing this to me. I still have a few days left before Christmas – this could be a good stocking stuffer!

I had never heard of these socks! Thank you so much for sharing with us! My husband is crazy rough on his socks, and actually, I am too when I work 12 hour shifts on my feet. I’ll have to try these out!
Will keep this brand in mind when I shop for the guys socks, I know with our scouts they always tell them to get a snug fitting sock for their camping and hiking to prevent blisters. I have had socks in the past the bunch up and cause me a blister. The Seam seems to end up where it shouldn’t. I like a sock gives you a good tailored fit! Thank you for sharing.
