Welcome to the Gift Card Giveaway Hop hosted by Planet Weidknecht and LeahSay’s Views. This hop is designed to let you enter to win gift cards to use for holiday shopping (or even buying yourself a gift!). Each blogger is having a giveaway for a gift card, valued at $25 or more.
The gift card here at Emily Reviews is to SitStay. Sit Stay is a website that sells products for dogs including toys, treats, food and general gear. They have lots of products that would make great gifts or stocking stuffers for your dogs. They’ve even compiled groups of products as holiday gift ideas. One of their holiday gift packages is called O Holy Meat, which we were recently sent for my pugs Frank & Beans to test out as an early Christmas gift for them. They totally approve!
The set includes a steak squeaky toy, a container of 15 6″ bully sticks, a package of Whole Jerky in bacon flavor (made by the same guys that make Fruitables), and a meat lovers biscuit mix. All of these come in a cute SitStay gift bag. The squeaky toy was a bit large for my 20lb dogs. They’re kind of scardy-cats so they’re intimidated by large toys even though its thin enough that they could get their mouth around it if they wanted to. They loved all of the edibles, though.
I love Fruitables treats but we hadn’t tried the jerky made by the same brand. I love how there are only two ingredients (bacon & natural flavor)! The jerky is bacon flavored so Frank and Beans just go crazy for them.
The meat lovers mix biscuits have nearly no scent making them great for people with sensitive noses who like to avoid giving their pups smelly treats. They come in cute little shapes and my dogs seem to like them just fine. They vary in size, but most of them are about the size of a half dollar, though they are really thin. I think they’re a nice size treat, I don’t feel like I have to break them in half like I do most other treats. They come in a bag that isn’t resealable so I just emptied them into a sandwich bag for storage after opening the original bag.
I love the container that the bully sticks came in. The front says Merry Chewmas and is reusable. The bully sticks vary in width but all of ours were well over the 6″ that is advertised. One or two of ours were about 7″ but most were 8″ in length. So even the skinnier ones feel like a good deal. I’ve noticed that my dogs seem to go crazier over the type of bully sticks that are not a standard width. I’m not sure what the difference is in how they are processed but they went nuts for these.
This set makes a great gift collection for Frank & Beans and SitStay has tons of other products that would be great gifts for them too. A few of the items on our wish list from SitStay are below.
Left – Pumpers ($2.95). Right – Waddlers & Paddlers ($0.68). In fact, I’m off to order both of these today as they are offering free shipping, making it a great time to try them.
Left – Thundershirt for anxiety ($36). Right – 6 pack of candy cane shaped bully sticks ($5.00).
