I love a good drink now and then, and I know a lot of other adults too. I often find myself gifting nice liquor or bar mixers to my friends for the holidays, and they make a really great gift that I know they’ll actually use. I received Slimrock Bar Mixers in the Cucumber Ginger Citrus, and Mango Margarita flavor. The picture shows the Cucumber Ginger Citrus flavor having already been opened, because I forgot to take a picture of it before opening it. I was so excited to try it!

The Cucumber Ginger Citrus flavor of the Slimrock Bar Mixer is really unique. I’ve never had a mixer like it before. It has a definite, natural cucumber taste, with a hint of spicy ginger, and tangy citrus. I mixed it with some rum, and it was really yummy. They also recommend adding fresh basil or mint leaves. I did not try that, but it sounds like it would be really good!

Not only is the mixer yummy, but it has 1/5 the calories of normal mixers, is 99% natural, and is sugar-free. It’s sweetened with sucralose. I’m generally not a fan of drinks sweetened with sucralose, but this didn’t have the overly sweet taste that most drinks that use this sweetener do. I really liked this mixer!

The Mango Margarita flavor was my favorite of the flavors I’ve tried. I’ve reviewed this flavor before, which you can see here. This mixers has the lovely margarita taste, but it’s a bit sweeter with the added mango flavor. I really like this mixer with tequila, but it’s also great with vodka or rum, or even as a virgin drink. It doesn’t taste completely like a “normal” margarita, but I never have to feel guilty about drinking this drink!

Just like the other Slimrock Bar Mixers flavors, the Mango Margarita has 1/5 the calories of other mixers, only 30 calories per serving. It’s also sweetened with stevia, and agave nectar rather than sugar, or any man-made sugar substitute. It is made with 99% natural ingredients.
