I received products from Winning Moves Games for this review. All opinions are my own.
When it comes to deciding what Christmas gifts to give my nieces and nephews, I try to think about their ages, skill levels and what would get the most use. I usually come up with an idea and try to apply it to each of them. This year, I focused on games. I wanted the gifts to encourage patience, team work and to allow the kids to use their problem solving skills. I turned to Winning Moves Games, one of my favorite game companies, to help me find the right games.
Winning Moves Games offers card games, children’s games, family games, puzzles and Rubik’s. They have and assortment of classic and new games.
For my review, I received Classic Trouble, Crocodile Dentist, The Uncle Wiggily Game, Pay Day, No Stress Chess, The Game of Life and Pass The Pigs.
Classic Trouble is so much fun. Two to 4 players, ages 5 and up, race to get their colored pegs around the board. My youngest just loves this game. It should be no surprise that her favorite part is popping the dice bubble.
Crocodile Dentist has you lending a hand to a croc with a tooth ache. One to four players, ages four and up, take turns pressing teeth to find the one that aches. Watch out, the next tooth you press might get your finger bitten. My youngest has claimed this game. She laughs so hard when the croc bites.
The Uncle Wiggily Game takes players on an adventure. Two to four players, ages four to eight, must move their Uncle Wiggily game piece to Dr. Possum’s office. First player to Dr. Possum’s office wins. My oldest really enjoys this game. She loves reading the rhymes and making up her own story line.
Deluxe Box of Bunco is great for two to twelve players. Players roll the dice to score points. Each round has a special dice number players must roll. Players must roll a Bunco or 21 points to win. Deluxe Box of Bunco also has bonus rolls. Deluxe Box of Bunco will be the perfect gift for my mom. She has recently become a Bunco junkie.
Pay Day shows two to four players, ages, eight and up, just how fast your money gets spent. During the game, players will earn money and encounter bills. This is a great way to show kids the importance of a budget.
No Stress Chess teaches you how to play the challenging game of Chess. No one in our family knows how to play chess. It was nice to have a clear explanation right in front of us.
The Game of Life Dogs Edition, has two to five players, ages eight and up, going through the events in a dog’s life. This is a fun way to teach kids that life doesn’t always go as planned.
Pass The Pigs is a game for two or more players. They must roll the pigs to see who can get more points. Be careful, you don’t want to “Pig Out”! This game is new to us. It is a lot of fun to play in a big group.
I think items from Winning Moves Games make great holiday gifts for people of all ages. Whether you are looking for games or puzzles, Winning Moves Games is sure to have a gift for everyone on your shopping list.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

What fun games. I have not played the game of Life in years. It was one of my favorite games growing up. I may have to pull it out for family game night. Alligator dentist looks hilarious.

What a great variety of games. Playing games is always fun.
I have so many of these games, but I would love to get the kids the no stress Chess. My younger ones love to play but get frustrated with it.
