I received products from Wonder Forge for this review. All opinions are my own.
If you haven’t heard of Wonder Forge, check them out. They are an amazing company that started in 2007 and is now selling their games nationwide in four countries. They have won several awards for their products including- Parents Choice Gold Awards, Family Fun Magazine Holiday Toy Test, Good Housekeeping Magazine Holiday Toy Test, Creative Child Game of the Year Award and many more.
Wonder Forge currently offers 50 games. These games bring generations together so entire families can learn together, have fun, and enjoy one another. This is why I think that Wonder Forge games make great holiday gifts, especially for boys and girls.
Wonder Forge provided me with four games for this review: The Magical Tea Time game, Jake and the Never Land Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt game, Doc McStuffin All Better game, and the Justice League Axis of Villains Strategy game.
The Justice League Axis of Villains Strategy game is designed for 2 to 4 players 8 years of age and older. This is a board game with dice and cards. Can you defeat the villains before they destroy the Justice League? You will have to work well with your team members and combine your powers to win. Justice League Axis of Villains Strategy game is sold exclusively at Target.
The Magical Tea Time game is also for 2 to 4 players and is geared toward players 3 or older. Who better to have tea with than Princess Sophia? This set comes with a magical teapot and 4 teacups. This is a great game to teach sharing and matching. How does the tea change colors depending on which cup it’s in?
Jake and the Never Land Pirates have you discovering clues and finding treasures in the Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt game. Two to four players ages 3 and older get to use Jake’s spyglass decoder and their memory skills when they play this game.Yo ho, we found the treasure let’s go! Just to make sure you don’t loose your doubloons, this game comes with a storage bag.
If you have an aspiring doctor in the house, make sure you have Doc McStuffins All Better game. Two to four players that are 3 years and older can fix boo boos with special slap bracelet bandages. I love that this game has you taking turns being the patient and being the Doc. Thank you Doc for taking all my ouchies away!
We have a lot of rainy and overcast days in Oregon so there’s plenty of time spent inside during our fall and winter months. There’s no better way to beat cabin fever than by playing a game. It’s a sure bet that these Wonder Forge games are going to be our “go to” games for a while.
You can connect with Wonder Forge on facebook and twitter.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
