I received products from Heat Holders for my review. All opinions are my own.
My husband is an explosive technician (no, this doesn’t mean he has anger issues; it means he blows things up). He often works in Eastern Oregon. This means he is exposed to the cold and snowy weather for long hours. He wears as many layers of clothing as he can, but he still needs to be able to function with the physical demands of the job so his layers can’t be bulky. I have heard him say that even with two pairs of socks or wool socks, his feet are cold. I heard about a company called Heat Holders and was curious to see if their socks would help keep his feet warm.
Heat Holders socks are made with Advanced Insulating Yarn. This means the material they use was created to provide your feet protection from the cold. They also have a wicking ability to keep your feet nice and dry. Heat Holders yarn is woven into Long Looped Thermal Pile. This helps to keep the warm air next to your skin. Finally, Heat Holders socks are made with Soft Brushed Inner material to provide you with additional comfort.
Heat Holders socks have been given a Tog (Thermal Overall Grade) rating of 2.34. Other thermals socks received a grade of 0.89 and basic cotton socks received 0.33. This tells me, they have taken the necessary steps to ensure that Heat Holders socks really do provide you with extra warmth.
For our review, both my husband and I received a pair of Heat Holders socks. I was expecting the socks to be bulky and stiff but that wasn’t the case. On the exterior, they have a nice knit material and the inside is like the softest sweatshirt you can imagine. It didn’t take long for my feet to warm up once I put on the Heat Holders socks.
My husband hasn’t made a trip to Eastern Oregon since he received his Heat Holders socks. He wore his socks around the house this weekend. He said they were nice and warm. He thought they would work great on his next work trip.
I have a friend whose husband suffers from circulation problems. His body cramps up because it is constantly cold. I gave him my Heat Holders socks because I think he will benefit from them even more than I. I am excited to hear how he likes them and if they helped warm him.
You can purchase Heat Holders on their website. Connect with Heat Holders on facebook, twitter and YouTube.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Wow, your husband’s job sounds stressful, and cold feet doesn’t help! I don’t have much of a problem like that since I live in LA but the family lives in the cold Midwest. Never heard of this brand but it is definitely needed in the crazy weather the states are having.
I would love to try some of these out! My feet are constantly cold, but I hate wearing socks, especially since they don’t help to keep my feet warm. I have an awesome pair of slippers my mil got me for Christmas one year, but they work a little too well and my feet start sweating before too long. These sound like just the thing!
