I received products from PEEPS for my review. All opinions are my own.
Prior to writing this review, my daughters and I had never tried PEEPS marshmallow treats. I have seen them around in stores for years, but just hadn’t tried them. My daughters have asked me what they tasted like. I explained that they were marshmallows but other than that, I had no idea what they tasted like.
Last week, I was asked to review PEEPS Valentine’s Day treats and I jumped at the opportunity. For our review, we received a collection of PEEPS including- Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Crème Flavored Chicks, Chocolate Mouse Flavored Marshmallow Bears, Marshmallow Hearts, Chocolate Covered (milk and dark)Raspberry Flavored Hearts, Strawberry Crème Flavored Marsh Mallow Hearts, Vanilla Crème Flavored Marshmallow Hearts and Sugar-Free Marshmallow Hearts.
Cheyenne and I couldn’t wait for Savannah to get out of school to try the PEEPS. We immediately shared a Milk Chocolate Covered Raspberry Flavored Heart. The chocolate was good and the raspberry flavored marshmallow was a nice flavor and texture. We enjoyed our first PEEP together.
Then when Savannah came home from school, we tried a Chocolate Mouse Flavored Marshmallow Bears. It received mixed reactions. She enjoyed it, but Cheyenne and I prefer the Chocolate Covered Raspberry Flavored Hearts.
As for my husband, I think he enjoyed the Vanilla Crème Flavored Marshmallow Hearts the best.
The girls set aside some of our PEEPS Valentine’s Day treats to share with their classmates. They are going to make fun Valentine’s themed treat bags with two PEEPS and a special note for each person in their class.
There are several fun ideas on how to make special Valentine’s day treats for your sweeties on the Peeps website. I especially like the Sweetheart PEEPS Pops, Chocolate Mousse Pudding Cups and Wild for PEEPS Valentines Cupcakes.
PEEPS treats are low in calories and are gluten-free. They come in a variety of flavors in fun seasonal designs. PEEPS are sold nationwide in grocery, drug stores and PEEPS Company retail stores.
You can see more of PEEPS offerings on their website. Connect with PEEPS on facebook and pinterest.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

We usually save the Peeps for Easter but I’ll have to pick up some of those heart shaped Peeps for my kids. They’ll love them.

I forgot Peeps are gluten-free! I watch sugar but these would be great to use in a Valentine’s special creation, of course paired with lots of chocolate. They’re usually pretty reasonably priced too so they have my vote.
Your Daughters Adorable, Great Ideas Great Review!!
