Spring is here! Time to show your colors, and Wee Urban is there to bring some modern and colorful pieces to your little one’s closet. Wee Urban one of my favorite brand of organic baby apparel for many reasons.

First off, their clothing is made of organic cotton and bamboo as I just said but Wee Urban also takes the extra step of using low-impact dyes. Not only is organic apparel better for the skin and the environment (which, in my humble opinion, would be more than sufficient in and of itself to choose organic clothes), it’s also much softer than regular fabric.

Second, if you’ve even seen a Wee Urban dress or romper, I’m sure it caught your eye. Their products are easy to spot because most of them are made in solid color (pink, green, plum, aqua, taupe) with an oversized light color sleek animal design. They also recently introduced some printed fabrics and non-animal designs. All their clothes are designed to be easy-to-wear, no fuss clothing. You won’t find sparkly bows or lace ruffles, not even polka dots. What you’ll find is simple, clean lines that match their polished designs. Both their choice of colors and designs are very trendy and fresh. It’s a testament to the idea that kids clothes can be both stylish and comfortable.

Wee Urban is best known for its dresses and sleep sacs but they are constantly expanding the range of products they offer. They now have cute rompers, bibs, and ever coordinating socks. They also offer infant gowns which can be purchased as a set with a baby hat and socks.

For this review, I received both a dress and a romper in Pink Giraffe for my daughters. It’s just too cute to see them in matching outfits!

The rompers come in 3 sizes: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, and 12-18 months. You can get them individually or with a matching bib depending on the design that you choose. Some are designed with short sleeves, others with long sleeves which makes for a great selection! The model I received has the same ruffled neckline and short sleeves as the Pink Giraffe dress. The lower part is wider which means it can accommodate cloth diapers easily. The fabric, which is 66% rayon from organic bamboo, 28% organic cotton, washes very well and is super soft as expected. I love how it fits on my daughter. The ruffled neckline had a bit of flair without being over the top. It’s something she can wear any day of the week, whether we’re going to a play date or to the part or to a family gathering. It’s easier to wear then a dress at her age because dresses do tend to bunch up.

The dress is one of Wee Urban’s most popular ones. It comes in size 2T to 5T in 4 different colors/designs. It is a simple yet girly flair out dress meant to be as easy to wear on the beach as it is at daycare or school. I love the bold color and you can easily dress it up with a nice vest and necklace or add a pair of leggings until the weather warms up. As an aside, I am patiently waiting for Wee Urban to start offering leggings. Maybe one day! The fabric of this dress ia also a rayon/cotton blend. The rayon gives it a bit of extra stretch for a very flattering fit. The top of the dress is fitted thanks to the gathering at the back which can be stretched to adjust perfectly as my daughter grows. My appologies for the slightly blurry picture, my daughter wouldn’t stop jumping and twirling around in her dress…

Overall, I love our Pink Giraffe Dress and Romper from Wee Urban. Having my daughters in matching outfits is totally adorable. They both appear very comfortable and the vibrant color matches their personality! The giraffe print and ruffled neckline make them stand out from the crowd. The fact that they are organic is the icing of the cake!
