Our youngest son is almost two years old but never seems to be able to sleep still enough to stay covered. My husband covers him when he lays him down, I cover him when I come to bed, and then one or both of us ends up covering him in the middle of the night because he wakes up crying and cold. The Merino Kids Organic Cotton Baby Sleep Sack comes in two sizes, 0-2 years old for the baby size or 2-4 years old for the toddler size. I received the toddler size since our son is just a month shy of turning 2. This Sleep Sack features a double layer of 100% natural organic cotton and contains no chemicals or pesticides. The sleep sack is very soft to the touch and easy to use. One shoulder has two snaps on it for an easy secure fit as well as a zipper is located down one side. We have found that we don’t even need to use the zipper as we can just slide him into the Sleep Sack and then snap the shoulder snaps. One really nice feature that I find unique with this Sleep Sack is the safety belt opening so I can easily put our son in his Sleep Sack and then buckle him safely into his carseat or stroller while he stays nice and cozy.
We have been using our Merino Kids Sleep Sack every single night since its arrival and seen a remarkable improvement in our sons sleep habits. When it’s bedtime, he runs for the Sleep Sack and can’t wait to get into it. He no longer wakes up crying because he’s cold in the middle of the night. Then come morning, he cries when I take the Sleep Sack off. He truly seems to love it and so do my husband and I. We have even washed it and it held up perfectly showing no wash wear and is still quite soft.
