~Funny Story:  When I used to do daycare years ago, I had a little boy who was about 3 years old at the time come in the house and ask whose vehicle was out front.  His mom was coming up behind him laughing and I soon found out why.  When I told him that it was my car he shook his head and said, “No.  You have a brown car, not a purple one!”  He was so used to seeing my vehicle caked with gravel dust that he was convinced I owned a brown car!

While I love living out in the country on our farm, unfortunately, that comes with living on a gravel road.  This means that our vehicles are almost always in need of a good washing.  They get so dirty that the high end car wash at the local car dealership doesn’t even make a dent in the dirt and grime and we end up having to hand wash the vehicles after going through their car wash.  So I was thrilled when I came across E-Cloth Cleaning Products and saw that they carried a line for vehicles and offered to send me their Car Cleaning Kit for review.

The E-Cloth Car Cleaning Kit contains three products: Dual Action Mitt, Dry & Shine Cloth, and the Glass & Chrome Cloth.  E-Cloth only needs the addition of water when using but can also be paired with a very small amount of regular cleaning liquid if you wish.  We chose to use just water.

We followed the instructions by thoroughly wetting the vehicle first to loosen dirt.  Then we started scrubbing with the Dual Action Mitt.

Following The Dual Action Mitt, we used the Dry & Shine Cloth.

Finally, I went over the windows with the Glass & Chrome Cloth.

While we are definitely amateur car-washers, I think the kids and I did quite well by ourselves.  The next day when I took the kids to their piano and violin lessons, I kept double glancing out my windows because they were so clean!  It really threw me off to not see any dirt and dust on them and I couldn’t believe how nice it was driving with clean windows and mirrors.  Even my husband made a comment about how nice the outside of the SUV looked and he doesn’t usually say much about the car.

I found the Car Cleaning Kit to be a useful and time saving way to get our vehicle clean.  We used to use regular rags but the vehicle was always left streaky and grimy when it dried and I would get so frustrated that I would just quit washing the car for the Summer.  With our new E-Cloth products, I’m excited to be able to keep our vehicle clean!
