My niece Kelsie is now 14 months old and she is all over the place. It doesn’t seem like she has been walking for very long but she can get from point-a to point-b in the blink of an eye. Kelsie started walking a little bit soon after her birthday, but it was a few weeks later before she completely gave up crawling and began walking everywhere. While she’s only been walking full-time for a few weeks, it seems like she’s almost a pro already. The transition happened so quickly! She is so excited about exploring her surroundings on two legs that she hesitates to stop to nap or sleep. So when she does finally give in to sleep, she crashes hard. She needs a diaper that she can bend and move in without bunching up or coming loose that is still absorbent enough to keep her dry all night long.
We recently ran to Target to get some Huggies Little Movers diapers. I love finding deals and was excited to see that Target was running a deal where if we bought two boxes of diapers, we got a $10 Target gift card for free. We ran back through the store a second time with the $10 gift card which completely covered the cost of a 28 pack of diapers. In total, we were able to get two 92-count boxes of diapers and a 28 count bag of diapers, so in total we got 212 diapers for $50 out-of-pocket. Sales only last for one week at Target so this deal has ended now, but keep an eye on the Target circulars as they run deals like this fairly often. You can even use coupons with these deals to save even more. The diapers were easy to find in the store and the deal was highlighted with a red tag so it was easy to see which diapers were included.
The Huggies Little Movers have been updated to now have Double Grip Strip sides that run along the sides and front of the diaper. They are a stretchy elastic material that hugs your baby while still being bendable and movable enough to keep up with the movement from active babies and toddlers. With other diapers, the side tab area of the diaper would sometimes fold over on itself and bunch up as Kelsie walked, crawled or climbed. The double grip strip sides stay in place despite all of Kelsie’s movements.
Kelsie has chubby thighs but a thin waist, so the stretchy back panel on Huggies Little Movers help keep the diaper up against her back as she moves around instead of gaping away from her back when she bent over like other diapers do.
