Thank you to Built NY for providing me with product, free of charge, for review. All opinions are my own.
The flurry and rush of “Back To School” preparations are beginning and, while there can be much excitement, this process takes a lot of time, work, and effort to become fully prepared for the first day back. Notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, books, and more are needed but I’ve found that kids get much more excited over other supplies such as their lunch pails. Even though we homeschool, there are many occasions such as field trips and co-op where a lunch pail/bag is needed. Built NY has a nice variety of colors, patterns, and characters available for all ages and I was happy to partner with them for this review.
Built NY generously offered to send each of our children a new lunch pail to test and share with you. We received the Big Apple Buddies Lafayette Ladybug and Delancey Doggie for our 2 and (almost) 4 year old sons, the Crosstown Lunch Bag in Urban Camo for our 7 year old son, and the Hobo Shoulder Lunch Tote in Posh Paisley Purple for our 9 year old daughter.
The Big Apple Buddies are not only brightly colored and adorable, they are also insulated and have a velcro closure at the top. This type of closure is perfect for the younger aged children to be able to open and close by themselves. Both of our younger boys enjoy being as independent as possible and these bags allow then to be more self-sufficient. Insulated and compact measuring in at W-7.75″ x H-10.25″, these bags pack a cute punch to lunch!
The Hobo Shoulder Lunch Tote would be perfect for children and adults alike. Made from a durable Neoprene material, this bag is definitely made to last and comes with a heavy duty zipper closure that slides easily. Insulated and machine washable, this lunch tote is a great size measuring in at W-12.25″ x H-7.9″. The colors are vivid and eye-catching and I like it so much that I want to borrow it from our daughter for my personal use.
The Urban Camo Crosstown Lunch Bag has a roll top velcro designed closure and a long carry handle strap. This bag holds a fair amount of food and measures in at W-9″ x H-10.6″. The hook closure on the front of this bag keeps everything secure and there is also a mesh pocket on one side. Lightweight and insulated along with the fact that this bag folds flat for storage completes great list of features. Our 7 year old son loves this pattern and colors and is stoked to have this bag at his disposable this year.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
