I find it easiest to remember to protect our children when out in the elements but Dads are important too! I was sent the Short Sleeve Rash Guard in Surf Blue for my husband. As soon as he opened the package, he was impressed with the quality of material. He has a swim shirt/rash guard from another brand and the difference was immediately noticeable. While his other shirt is thin and stretched out almost right away (it seriously looks like a dress and I can’t stand it when he wears it!), the Coolibar Short Sleeve Rash Guard had a nice feel to it that felt more heavy duty. A feature that he likes and neither of us has seen before is the zippered pocket on the back. While the immediate quality was felt, my husband enjoys wearing this shirt because of its lightweight stretchy fit. It’s perfect whether he’s playing outdoors with the kids, swimming at the beach, or building sandcastles with the boys. An all around great protective rash guard that offers the best protection. He likes it so much that he said, “All shirts should be made exactly like this. It’s so comfortable!” Size wise, my husband typically wears a size large shirt and this Rash Guard ran true to size as a large.
I also received the Boys Island Boardshorts in Sailboat for our 7 year old son. Boosting the same unique safety and protective qualities as all of Coolibar’s other products, these Boardshorts are also cute and comfortable. We received a size small (6-8) and they fit our son perfectly. If he doesn’t grow too much, we’ll even get another Summer out of them. They do have a measurement guide to go by as well if you are unsure of what size to order. So far, he’s been enjoying running around in his new swimwear and I enjoy the protective factor they provide.
