Thank you to NewAir for providing me with product, free of charge, for review. All opinions are my own.
I became aware of NewAir products a couple months ago and was able to review their AI-215R Portable Ice Maker for you. We are still using our Ice Maker daily and honestly don’t know how we ever survived without it! Even my husband, who didn’t think it was a necessity at first, now believes otherwise and is just as dependent on it’s production as I am. You can head over HERE to read my original review. So I was excited to learn about the chance to check out and share another NewAir product.
I was sent the NewAir WCD-110SS Water Dispenser to review. We were currently using a water dispenser that we had purchased locally but I’ve never cared for because only one (of the two) spouts worked from day one but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning and exchanging it. Plus, it was just plain ugly in an off white/cream color that always looked dirty. Upon opening the WCD-11oSS, I was pleased to see it looked as beautiful in person as it did in the photo. With stainless steel sides and front trimmed with an elegant black, this Water Dispenser fits beautifully into our decor since our appliances are a mixture of black and stainless steel. Of course, as with all stainless steel, fingerprints do show and I have to clean those off often for the perfectly polished look. However, this is a trade off I’m willing to take for such a beautiful product.
NewAir WCD-110SS Water Dispenser Features:
~Freestanding Design
~Hot & Cold Water Options
~Safety Regulated Hot Button
~Silent Operation
~Stainless Steel Water Tank
~Push Button Controls
~Light Indicators
~Removable Overflow Tray
~1 Gallon Internal Storage Tank
~Compatible With 2, 3, or 5 Gallon Jugs
The initial set up was very simple. The instructions had me run some water through and leave sit for about 30 minutes to clean out any dust from shipping. Then, after emptying and releasing the drain plug, the WCD-110SS Water Dispenser was ready for use. My in-laws actually gave us a water filtration system a couple years ago for Christmas that fits onto the top of any Free Standing Water Dispenser so we use that as opposed to the large plastic bottles. We placed that system on the top and waited a short time for the water to fill the internal storage tank. The light indicators came on to let us know that the water was being cooled/heated and after a few minutes, went off because it was ready to go.
This unit has a push button control for dispensing water as opposed to a lever. While I like the fact that our two year old is unable to run even the cold button, our older children, ages 7 and 9, find it slightly difficult to use. The buttons require a firm push to release any water and their fingers get tired quickly when using because the unit dispenses at a slower rate than our old one. My favorite feature of the WCD-110SS Water Dispenser is the 1 Gallon Internal Storage Tank. We were constantly running out of cold water with our old unit and I am pleased with the performance, quality, and quantity delivered through the WCD-110SS. The fact that NewAir designed this product with a Stainless Steel Water Tank is just icing on the cake and delivers a fresher tasting water.
Our NewAir WCD-110SS Water Dispenser has been getting a ton of use since water is the main beverage for everyone in the house. My husband would prefer the cold water to be slightly colder but, all in all, this is a really great unit with lots of great features and I’m happy to have this quality Water Dispenser at our daily disposal now.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

This is nice. My neighbor has a system a bit like this but it wouldn’t make sense for me as a single person. It looks so sleek like it belongs in a doctor’s office or something. I need to do something to encourage drinking more water though. I use a filtered water pitcher now and would like to update it.
