I was sent the Walnut Chopping Block Model: WAL-CCB183-R from John Boos. Even though the dimensions are listed, 18 DIA X 3 CRM, I was still amazed at what a nice big size this Board is. Its weight also caught me off guard. This block is quite heavy and definitely well-made. Upon opening, the beautiful walnut coloring struck me as unique and perfect for leaving on top of my counter.
John Boos cutting boards come shipped with a Boos Block Cream With Beeswax finish already applied to protect and prolong the life of the board, however, it is recommended to continue treating the board with John Boos Mystery Oil or Boos Block Cream every 3 to 4 weeks. With this minimum amount of suggested care, the life of John Boos products are extended by many years.
The beauty and function offered by John Boos & Co. products is top of the line. I like having a cutting surface readily available at all times now that I have my Walnut Chopping Block on my counter. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and a great addition to my kitchen.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
