My daughter, like many young girls out there I’m sure, is a huge fan of Littlest Pet Shop. So far, she’s been happy single packs and a few themed packs but I felt she was ready for more. I could see how a bigger set with a building would make it more fun and allow her to be more creative in her play.

Hasbro has many different buildings and rooms such as the Day Camp Style Set, Ahh To The Spa Style Set, Acular Fun Room Style Set and more that girls can collect. They can actually be combined and stacked together to create the ultimate Littlest Pet Shop universe!

For my daughter, I received the Littlest Pet Shop Style Set which is entirely customizable. You set up the easy-glide panels the way you want, choose the background picture and the rooftop decor (both with reversible cardboard images). This set comes with all the necessary accessories: a countertop and a cash register, a shelf to showcase all your products (dog food, cat food, fish food, etc.). There’s also a ladder, a playhouse,a tree, and a beautiful chandelier! As you can see, in the Littlest Pet Shop world, there is no ordinary pet shop. It comes with 2 exclusive characters: Minka Mark, Kitery Banter, and Sunil Nelva.

What is great is that this set also comes with stickers and dozens of Deco Bits to decorate this set the way you want. There are hearts, butterflies, flowers, dog’s faces, cat’s faces, etc. Not only can kids have fun playing with this beautiful set, they can also have a great time setting it up and decorating it! As a side note, if you have an eager and somewhat little girl like mine, I strongly suggest you build the pet shop ahead of time – not the stickers and the Deco Bits, but the walls, doors, curtains, etc. because it does take a while to put together. It’s not a complex task but if you have a young girl bombarding you with ‘Is it ready yet?’ questions every 2 minutes on Christmas Eve, you may find it takes longer than you’d like.

And the fun continues with the new Littlest Pet Shop App! It’s available both on the App Store and on Google Play. Girls can play with their very own digital pets, dress them, and play games to earn new items and levels. New Littlest Pet Shop pets have a special paw symbol on them that you can scan to bring them into your vitual world which is really neat because it’s like seeing them come to life. The app is free with optional in-app purchases and it’s a great extension to the actual pets. My daughter loves to interact with her pets, see them react, and accessorize them!

If you have a Littlest Pet Shop fan on your list, I strongly recommend the Littlest Pet Shop Style Set either as a first building from the LPS universe or to add to the sets she already has. The more the better! And the LPS app is also a fun way for them to carry their Littlest Pet Shop universe with them wherever they go!
