Thank you Soft Star Shoes

These are my own honest opinions.
Minimalist shoes allow feet to move freely and naturally. They are great for babies who are learning to walk but also for kids and adults. Minimalist shoes promote healthy muscle and bone development and balance. I tried all kinds of minimalist shoes and Soft Star is my favorite brand. I like that all their shoes are handmade in their workshop in Oregon using the highest quality materials.
The quality of the craftmanship is truly outstanding. And they back it up with an amazing policy: they accept returns and exchanges on all shoes (except clearance items and custom orders) that are in like-new, sellable condition, even Design-Your-Own shoes! They offer shoes for kids and adults, from running shoes to adorable ballerine flats. Most of their shoes are made of leather but some are made of sheepskin and they also have vegan shoes made of Ultrasuede. No matter which shoes you fall for, you can be certain that the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship will be outstanding. I own 3 pairs of Soft Star shoes and they are all comfortable and beautiful.
For this review, I had the opportunity to design 2 pairs of shoes: the ballerina flats for me and the child classic shoes with Velcro for my daughter. It was my first time designing shoes and the process was both easy and fun. Depending on the model that you choose, you can select the color for the body, the heel, the trim, add a motif, etc. My only wish would be for the picture to actually represent the colors selected so we can visually analyze if colors go well together or not but I understand it may be complicated to set up.
I decided to make coordinating shoes for my daughter and I. I went all out and picked shiny platinum as the main color and fushia as the accent color. I added cute flowers, also in fushia, on each pair. I have to say the end result is simply stunning! I thought the shiny leather might not look as good in person as it does in the photos but it’s actually the same shimmering color yet the leather is soft and supple. The fushia was not an obvious color complement but my daughter loves this color and I thought it would be fun.
My daughter’s reaction when she saw her shoes was to ask if they were really hers. I think she feels like a princess wearing them around the house. She was really proud to bring them to daycare and show her little friends her sparkly new shoes. We have fun wearing our matching shoes around the house, to the park, etc. We get lots of compliments and I proudly explain that I designed them myself and explain the story behind Soft Star shoes.
