*Moccis sent me a pair of slipper moccasins for my review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve always struggled with slipper options. My feet get cold easily and we try to keep our heat bill down. As a result, I find myself with chilly feet if I wear regular socks in the winter. I’ve tried many slipper options in hopes of keeping my feet warm but even slippers that claim to have soft-soles usually have more firmness to them than I like. I almost always sit on top of one or both of my feet so even slippers with bendable soles tend to hurt my legs. I am so happy to have found Moccis because they’re warmer than slippers while being just as comfortable and soft as socks.
The soles are made out of a thin leather that is just as bendable as socks. Sitting on my feet while wearing Moccis isn’t uncomfortable at all. The tops of Moccis are like a thick sock and are hand-sewn into the leather soles. I was sent the “Rock’N’Roll Adult Moccis in size 38-39 which is roughly a US women’s 7/8. I wear a women’s size 7.5 and the size 38-29 moccis had a bit of growing room for me length wise. My feet are wide so the leather sole doesn’t come up as far on the center portion of my foot as it does the toe and heel but this isn’t uncomfortable and hasn’t caused any issues for me. Moccis are also available in child sizes (from newborn through age 12 years).
Moccis are machine washable. I’ve only washed mine once but they came out fine except the print from the soles of the Moccis slippers faded a lot (they used to read the brand name and shoe size).
I’ve enjoyed wearing my Moccis to bed because they keep my feet warm even if my feet slip out of the covers at night. They are so soft and flexible that I can slip my winter boots on over my Moccis when I take my dogs outside or check the mail during the day.
I’m really happy with my Moccis overall. I just wish I had a second or third pair so that I could wear them 24/7 instead of waiting for my one pair to come through the wash every few days.
