We are right smack in the middle of Winter here in Minnesota.  Many days have been hovering around zero with wind chill in the negatives.  While this makes for some very long days, I know many people escape the Winter blues by heading on a getaway to someplace warm and sunny.  While we are not able to manage getting away from our farm for that long, we did recently take a trip to the Radisson BLU Mall of America.  This allowed us a change of scenery and some fun.  After spending some time at the mall, we went back to the hotel and hit the pool.  Swimwear and resort clothes are hard to come by this time of year but, thankfully, Coolibar had me covered.

This is the first long sleeved rash guard I have ever owned and I was slightly unsure how I’d feel about it in the water.  With a pull over style, it was easy to get on and off yet looked quite stylish with the design and raglan shoulders.  Surprisingly, it felt fairly weightless in the water and dried really fast once out of the pool.  In fact, I think it kept me warmer after I went to sit on the sidelines to watch the kids swim more.  Typically, I dread sitting around dripping wet because I get chilly so fast but I really liked that this Long Sleeve Rash Guard kept me comfortable.  While I haven’t tried it in Summer under the heat of the sun, I actually think this top will help keep me cooler because of the fabric it’s made from.  The aqua SUNTECT fabris is both chlorine and salt water resistant to provide the optimum life span.

I wore the Reversible Swim Bottoms under my Skirted Swim Shorts.  Again, these pieces were very comfortable.  They would have been perfect for a workout in the gym or swim in the pool.  With five young kids, I didn’t get the chance to hit the exercise room but we did swim.  Both of these pieces allowed optimum movement and comfort while in the pool and out.
