For Christmas, my daughters, ages 5.5 and almost 8 years old, received tablets from their Grandparents. To go with these new gifts, my husband came up with the idea of getting them docking station. He wanted them to have something in their rooms that would allow them to listen to music. I wanted a docking station that had an alarm clock to help wake them in time for school. We found what we were both looking for with the iHome iBT22.
iHome is a division of SDI Technologies. SDI Technology specializes in consumer electronics. They offer alarm clocks, clock radios, portable speakers, home audio systems, headphones, and more.
For my review, I received two iBT22 docking stations; one black and one white. The iBT22 wirelessly streams audio. Connection can be made in one of three ways- Bluetooth, via the universal 3.5mm stereo connection or through a 1-amp USB port. The iBT22 has dual alarm clock capabilities. You can wake to an alarm or your selected audio. For your convenience, the iBT22 can be powered by the included universal 100-240V AC adaptor or battery powered.
The iBT22 docking station is a good size; it fits nicely on a desk, night stand and window sill. The clock display is a pleasant size and can easily be seen in the dark. The sound from the speakers is clear. Set-up was fairly easy. We used the USB port to connect the devices.
The girls think it is pretty neat that they can play music from their tablets over to their alarm clocks.
I am pleased with the iBT22 docking station. They were a great choice for our daughters.

I need a new alarm clock and like the iHome products. No luck in trying to win one so I’m looking at all the reviews. I like the easy set up and music option too.
