Our kids are obsessed with animals. Stuffed or real, makes no difference. Since we live on a farm, that’s probably a good thing though. This also means that bed space is a rare commodity because our stuffed furry friends have taken over! (As a parent, I know that I can’t be alone in this problem, right?) Oh well. I remember loving animals just as much as a child and I cherish the memories I have of all my animals, both real or stuffed. Since Easter is approaching quickly, I wanted to share a great option for the Easter Basket that isn’t chocolate!
The Barbie Hug ‘N Heal Pet Doctor has been a very well received toy in our home. This new pet offers interactive fun that all four of our older kids, ages 2 to 9, have been enjoying.

After unpackaging and turning the setting from demo to on, the kids got busy learning about their new little friend. One thing that got them all excited was the fact that her nose lights up because she’s “sick” and the tissue helps make her feel better! They have never seen anything quite like that so it’s a pretty popular feature. Since operating the puppy just takes a tap on her foot or head, even our 2 year old enjoys playing.
A neat thing that our son discovered after playing for a bit was the fact that the puppy’s bandage on her paw flips! So now they love treating her and making her feel all better. The kids also love to feed the puppy her bottle and bone because the dog reacts to both with noises.
The Barbie Hug ‘N Heal Pet Doctor has been a fun addition to our home and gets played with often. We love her and think you will too!
I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

This is the cutest and I’ve not seen it in stores. I have the Barbie vet in pink capri pants, standing on a shelf. I’m a nurse and my cousin is a vet so our family loves animals and taking care of them. You could include a little book on pet first aid (which is very important for all pet owners to know).
