*Buffalo Tools provided me with product samples for review. All opinions are my own.
Ryan & I have been renting apartments for the past five or six years since I graduated high school. Most of the places we’ve rented didn’t allow us to even hang items on the walls, so we had very little need for tools. Our most recent apartment was still just rented, but it wasn’t part of a complex and it was just owned by an individual. The owner was happy to let us make it our own by hanging pictures, art, coat hooks, etc in exchange for doing minor repairs and DIY projects on our own. I quickly learned that our electric screwdriver was pretty weak because it wouldn’t drill screws all the way into the wall – so, I added a drill to the list of items I wanted to purchase for Ryan.
The Buffalo Tools PS07215 18 Volt Cordless Drill was sent to me for review. The drill comes in a plastic carrying case with a charger, 6 drill bits and 7 screwdriver bits. The case has grooves to hold each of the bits into place to prevent them from being lost. We’ve had this drill for a couple of months now and have used it to hang a coat rack, repair a loose board on a picnic table and hang photos and it’s tackled each of these tasks with ease. We left the drill unused in the case for a few weeks between use and it still held a charge after weeks of not being used.
Buffalo Tools is a brand that falls under the Buffalo corp umbrella of brands, which also includes AmeriHome, Black Bull and others. We were also sent a Black Bull fully automatic electric car jack from the buffalo corp brand. It is designed for cars up to 1 ton (2,000 pounds) in weight. We only have one vehicle and it’s a full sized pickup so it’s too heavy to be used with this jack and I haven’t been able to test it out as a result. If you’re in the market for a jack, check it out though as it has a really good overall review score on Amazon.
Tools (especially power tools) are always on my dad’s wish list, so be sure to check out Black Bull and Buffalo Tool brand products this father’s day!
