As a mother to five children, I can’t stress how much I love these seats.  Our daughter is 10 and, while she is technically old enough to be strapped in by a seat belt only, she is still in a 5 point harness!  While she is on the shorter side and will be on to the booster mode soon, I love the relief I’ve had knowing she was kept in the safest harness for such a long time.  I just cringe when I think about how much money we could have saved by purchasing her a Diono Radian RXT from the start as it would have been the only seat she would have needed.  I also really like the fact that we have the option for extended rear-facing use.  Studies are showing that children are much safer in rear mode and the Radian RXT allows for the option of harnessing that way longer.  Plus, the 10 year life span is one of the longest that I’ve come across.  If you’re in the market for a car seat, be sure to consider the Radian RXT.
