I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for WaterWipes. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I remember a few years ago a blog post went viral that listed the ingredients in a common brand of baby wipe and described what each ingredient really was. The list was really long and many of the ingredients were completely unrecognizable to me, where I couldn’t properly pronounce them. I remembered thinking that it was weird that we seem to think we need a bunch of chemicals or even just cleaning products in your baby wipes when most adults simply use dry paper on themselves.
Then about a year ago I heard about WaterWipes from a YouTube mommy. She was ordering them online because that was the only place she could find them, but they were 99.9% water and the other ingredient is fruit extract! She said they worked great. They sounded like a great product but I’m usually too disorganized to plan purchases for products like baby wipes ahead of time from the internet. So, I was really excited to learn that Babies R Us now carries WaterWipes.
My local Babies R Us had a 2 for $6 deal going on, making each pack $3, when each pack is usually $3.99.
Drew & Kelsie don’t have sensitive skin, but for children who do, WaterWipes are a great way to get your baby clean without the use of harsh chemicals or soaps. We use baby wipes for a lot more than just diaper changes, I find myself using them at least once a day for some task or another. We keep some in the car so we can clean up after eating in the car and clean dust of the dash, we use them to wipe down sticky hands, I use them on my pugs to clean their facial wrinkles and in between their paw pads, and I occasionally use them to clean up sticky or nasty messes so I can just throw the wipe away instead of having to wash a cloth towel that is covered in something gross.
So far, WaterWipes have held up to all of the cleaning tasks that I use them for just as well as any other baby wipe. They aren’t thin or prone to ripping, they are just as durable as other brands that I’ve used. I love knowing that none of the people or surfaces that I’m using WaterWipes on are being covered in unrecognizable chemicals or ingredients. I know so many “crunchy” moms who I know would love the simplicity of the ingredients in WaterWipes. The only slight downside is they don’t contain preservatives, so they will eventually dry out. However, they still have quite a long lasting life. You can store them without opening for 2 years, and once you open the package you should use them within 3 months. I wouldn’t store wipes for more than 2 years, and I always use a pack within 3 months anyway so for me this isn’t a problem at all. Unlike most other brands of wipes, WaterWipes are not interfolded (this is to keep the packaging sterile) so it’s recommended that you do not transfer the wipes into a new container.
If you’d like to make the switch to a natural, chemical free baby wipe head to your local Babies R Us to take advantage of the 2 for $6 deal!

Finally a very ingenious product. Why would we want to put chemicals on a baby’s soft new skin. This is a no brainer…Let make a difference and just say no to Chemicals

Finally a product that considers our skin using no chemicals. Great job.
